Introduction

The object of this finicky experiment is to observe that energy is conserved in the gravitational field near the surface of the earth. James Joule is credit with discovering the Law of Conservation of Energy. Joules proved this fair play through his work in thermodynamics. He was able to launch that work butt joint be converted as warmheartedness with a ratio of one to the other and work can be made into heat, this according to wikispaces.










Theory

All somatic processes that occur in the universe involve energy and the canalise of energy.



The Law of Conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed but only transferred from one place to another. So the purport of this lab is to prove that this law truly does personify in the universe. We will attempt to prove this law is accepted by implementing an air track and air cart and permit gravity runs it course on the downhill runs, while on the uphill runs it will be propelled with the flick of a finger.


























experimental Procedure

In this experiment we used a frictionless airtrack with an aircart that had a .10 meter long tab attached to the top of it. The purpose of the tab was so that when the cart passed through the upper and dispirit photogates the carts velocity and time would be recorded.
