Life Begins
Rachel Louise Carson was born on May 27, 1907 in Springfield, Pennsylvania, where she lived with her family. Her family was really poor, and she had two older siblings with which she shargond a room. She was very enkindle in nature, which she claimed to have learned from her mother. She also loved to write. In fact, when she was ten years old, she wrote a story called St. Nick, that was published in a kids magazine. From then on, each calendar month until she was twelve years old, she wrote a short story for the magazine.
When Rachel graduate from high school, she was accepted to Pennsylvanias College for Women, which is now Chatham College. She calibrated from on that point in 1925 and attended John Hopkins University. She received a scholarship there and graduated with an MA in animal in 1935. A friend of Rachels that went to school with her, utter that because she loved writing and science so much, she hoped to combine them unrivalled day for her dream job.
