The Industrial Revolution increase many markets relying on manufacturing, including France, Great Brittan, and Germany. This increase caused these countries to seek contrary markets for their merchandise. This created a competitive market leading to clashes in Africa all over business remedys. These clashes led to a resolution between Britain and France, age Germany remained an aggressive force.

This caused hard feelings between Germany and Britain and in the end caused Britain to hold up war on Germany. The United States did not officially tie involved until German U-bouts began sinking American ships at sea without cause. This caused President Wilson to address congress urging them to declare war in order to help protect the American right and way of life. And hence America entered the first World War.
