Reading About Morrie

Tuesdays with Morrie was an uplifting, sad, and thought provoking book for me to read.
I enjoyed the book so much, I want to sh be it with all of my friends and family. The book make me think closely my past, that most of all my future. all of Morries quotes in the book were excellent and they made me reflexion at my life differently.
On the fourth Tuesday, while Mitch and Morrie discussed death, Morrie said, in one case you
learn how to die, you learn how to live (Albom, p.82). This quote dumbfounded me because I had neer thought about death other than to relish scared about the subject itself. I realize, now, that death is a part of life. If I truly approach my life as if I was dying, then I would live differently. People never talk about death unless someone has died. My family never talked about death. My mother use to tell me that she would not be hither forever, but I would let the thought pass as quickly as it came. She would live a long life. I did not have to worry about that any while soon. I pushed the thought deep down because it was painful for me to think about. My mother passed away a few years by and by at the age of 53. If only I knew then what I know now, I would have lived differently, appreciating family, friends, nature, and just everyday pack that I came in contact with throughout my life.




On the duodecimal Tuesday, Mitch and Morrie talked about dischargeness. Morrie said Forgive yourself before you die. Then free others (Albom, p.166). The person who hurt you enjoys seeing you suffer and miserable. It is often rough to forgive others when they say or do things to hurt us, but it can be just as difficult to forgive ourselves of things we have done to hurt others. At the beginning of the book, Morrie was public lecture about his job and his lifestyle. He said,
