Education is the foundation on which a society is built. This becomes to a sweller extent and more evident as we continue to head into the future, presently at least 16 years of education is recommened in order to have a decent job. Our state is already behind in the matters of public education and with these budget cuts it is not looking like it will improve any while soon. However hopefully our leaders can colloborate and come up with a plan that will save Texas from this outcome.
The first stride that Texas should take should be to tap into its Rainy Day Fund. This $9.4 cardinal dollar reserve would go a long office into making this educational crisis manageable. Then truth is that education is only as stiff as those who teach it fuddle it. The goal should be to constitute teachers more, not fire them.
