When I joined the
university I was a bit late and I found that the other students had
already learned how to compose APA style papers along other many
citation styles. I was so embarrassed when the lecturer asked me to
explain the format of writing APA style papers the next day after I
joined university.
I knew nothing about APA style papers and I just
kept quiet. I felt so unease as the other students seemed to
understand better the formula for writing APA style papers because
many had their hands raised up to answer the question. When the
lecture was through he assigned me to write my term paper.
We were
expected to use the APA style and to me it was a big challenge to
write my term paper. I had no friend who could assist me write my
term paper and therefore I had no option that to learn the hard way.
I was determined to write my term paper well as I did not want to be
seen as a failure. I spend time reading books and other APA style
papers that I came across in the library.
I wrote the formula in my
note book so well to refer when I was to write my term paper. I
followed it when and I was happier as I did write my term paper much
better. There were so many APA style papers of research in the
library and I made copies of the APA style papers to use as revision
material to enable me write my term paper well. The APA style papers
were the reason why I can write my term paper without difficulties as
I understood them so well.
